33Across Now Supports HTTPS Sites

Great news, 33Across now supports HTTPS sites!
So what is the difference between HTTP and HTTPS sites?

HTTP, or hypertext transfer protocol is the way a web server communicates information with browsers like Google Chrome and Safari. HTTP allows visitors to view a site and send information back to the web server. HTTP is also the most common way to access html pages for sites that do not store confidential information.

HTTPS (hypertext transfer protocol secure) on the other hand is an HTTP through a secured connection. Communications through an HTTPS server are encrypted which protects against communication eavesdropping to and from the server. This means if your site involves the transfer of sensitive personal information from your viewers, you should consider using HTTPS.

What does this mean for you as a publisher?

If you are considering a switch to secure pages, 33Across RevCTRL and SiteCTRL script can deploy on both HTTP and HTTPS pages. Enabling 33Across on both types of pages leads to more ad impressions and more revenue.
